With the season barely 2 weeks away it is probably the time to make supporters and players aware of some subtle changes we will be seeing in Senior rugby.
Firstly we have the introduction of ‘Rolling’ substitutions – in a normal League game there can now be up to 8 changes in a game (sounds like a potential nightmare for referees ensuring that the correct numbers are on the pitch at all times!!) – view the details of this Rolling Substitutions Final Regulations.
In addition there are some amendments to the Laws being trialled including changes to the set scrum, quick throw-ins, rucks etc. Details of the changes can be found here.
Another reminder that the Mall Shopping competition closes on September 10th so it is very important to convert all of your Mall receipts into table tennis balls to ensure we win ther £5000 which is so important to help fund new portable floodlights which we so desperately need.
Finally Please Note - training times for the minis this season have changed. Training will now be 9.30 – 11.30.
