The Club House

The upstairs public rooms in the clubhouse include the Main Bar and a second smaller bar known as the SCRUFFS bar. We also have a large hall and fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor. The large hall downstairs is used as both a meeting room, wet weather playroom and a restaurant and is a very flexible space for the club to have.

The restaurant is open for lunches before 1st team home matches on a Saturday. On Sunday mornings, a full English breakfast is served and later on, snack meals around lunch time are also available.

All rooms are available to hire for functions and corporate activities such as training, meetings or seminars. Club members qualify for a discounted rate when booking function rooms.

Under the aegis of our 75th anniversary year, club members conducted a series of fund raising activities to generate additional funds over and above routine income so that we could improve the appearance of the clubhouse.

During the 2009/2010 season, with money largely donated by SCRUFFS, we installed 4 large flat screen TVs so that everyone can now enjoy televised sporting events either in the top bar, the SCRUFFS bar or restaurant
